However, most of us are in this industry for over 20 years.We believe that to be really great at something, you've to enjoy doing it, to really care, which is handy, because we do. Dont ask us why, we just do. We love coming up with new ideas, working out how to make them happen (and making them even better) and then bringing it all together.From creative conceptualization to execution, we are proud to say that everything is done in-house in our modest factory. We are confident and sensitive to our clients' needs; completing everything within budgets and deadlines and thereafter delivering to our clients' target audience. Aesthetics & safety precautions are our main priorities.But most of all we love it when our clients turn around and say how great it was, nothing beats that. Today, we still have some of the clients we started out with, so it can't be bad.Page 2Andrew Wee is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of the company. He's literally the man behind the scene for many successful events and productions. He's responsible for managing the production and operations team for the company.Having started working in this arts circle at a very young age, Andrew learnt to be determined and street smart. He obtained most of his knowledge and skills through on the job situations as well as through a lot of hard work. Andrew's strong work ethic has served him well in all aspects of life and he's a firm believer that you create your own destiny.After setting up his own workshop at a very young age of 25, which helped him earned a reputation for developing successful concepts, designs, events and shows. Page 3Priscil Poh is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of the company. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia with distinctions in Product Design and Computer Graphics. In recognition of her academic performance, she was on the Vice-Chancellor's List in 1994. She later served as a designer in Australia for 5 years, further developing and refining her skills before returning to Singapore.When she first started P'art 1 Design, she was primarily creating designs. Three years later, she set up her own workshop which helped her earned a reputation for developing successful designs, events and shows.Page 4Phylia Poh is the Artistic Director of the company. She was awarded the Raffles Scholarship by the British Council to do a MPhil, Master in Philosophy (United Kingdom). She has won numerous awards in design and art competitions and was invited as a judge for Coca-Cola, Singapore Narcotics Bureau, Peoples Association, Island Transit, etc. In 2001, she won the Shell Livewire Young Entrepreneur Award and was featured in the book published by Lianhe Zhaobao and International Enterprise (Singapore) Singapore Enterprises in China - a collection of 40 success stories.Phylia's works are formed by the notion of reconstruction - of recycling, reusing, rethinking and representing. She has planned, written and conducted numerous design and creative thinking workshops for both students as well as corporate groups. Her pieces of art has been published in school art text books and art publications in Singapore.
